Ekaru Play is a nature-immersive hospitality and entertainment destination set among the acacia groves of South Africa’s Free State. Open pavilions, shaded terraces, landscaped courtyards and water features create a relaxed setting for dining, play, live music and community gatherings, with architecture designed to connect guests closely to the surrounding landscape.

Stone walls, sculptural columns and soft planting shape a playful courtyard that blends architecture, landscape and movement.

A sheltered pavilion emerges through mature trees, blending stone, timber and climbing greenery into an immersive garden setting.

A relaxed outdoor terrace overlooks the landscaped courtyard, bringing dining, gathering and play together beneath generous shade.

A generous green commons links active play, shaded gathering spaces and pavilion buildings within a relaxed landscape.

A shaded play pavilion frames gardens and gathering spaces, creating a bright, sheltered setting for families and children.
