Installation
Hot Water Unit Replacement.
Most Sydney homes are still running gas-storage or electric-storage units. When one fails, the options are: like-for-like (cheapest, fastest); upgrade to gas-instant (better space efficiency); upgrade to heat pump (best energy economy, eligible for federal STC rebates); upgrade to solar (good for hot climates with good roof orientation, payback 8–12 years). We won't push you to the most expensive option — we'll quote all four if you want them.
Indicative price
Quote on inspection
Quoted on inspection. Standard like-for-like gas/electric storage replacement typically lands in the $1,800 — $3,500 range fitted; heat pump $4,500 — $7,500; solar $5,500 — $10,000 depending on roof + plumbing complexity.
